SHOSH
Owner/Partner
Shosh has maintained a life-long passion for creating Beauty, Health and Healing for the body and one’s environment. At the early age of fourteen Shosh was awarded a scholarship to the San Francisco Ballet; performing with various dance companies for the next twenty years. Dancing professionally she incurred several injuries and unexplained pains in her body. This wounding sparked her desire to learn more about the Body-Mind connection. Her healing journey led to studies for the next six years at the Ilana Rubenfeld Center in N.Y.C. and into private practice for the next twelve years as a Body-Centered Psychotherapist in the Rubenfeld Synergy Method. Shosh is a Synergist whose teaching style helps the student to deepen their Mind-Body awareness.
Shosh’s love of movement led her into ‘Tao Yin Fa, a form of Chi movement created by Fabien Maman, the Master/ pioneer of ‘Sound Therapy’ and founder of ‘Tama-Do’ (The way of the Soul) The Academy of Sound, Color, light, and Movement where she became a Tama-Do Practitioner.

Shosh’s New York studies included various forms of Yoga, Pilates, energetic healing modalities based in Oriental Medicine, Feng Shui, and Space Clearing. She was certified to teach Bikram Yoga in 2003.

After coming full circle back to the Phoenix area she graduated from the ‘Yoga Teacher training’ of SWIHA the ‘Southwest Institute of Healing Arts’. Shosh received her ‘Core Integration’ Mat Certification’ from Virginia Nichols of ‘Moving Breath Pilates’. Other teachers with whom she has attended Master classes, workshops and trainings include: Sri Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Yoga and Nithya Dyhan Meditation), Lisa Takamiya, Mary Bruce, Mukunda Stiles, and Rod Stryker of ‘Para Yoga’.

Partnering with her husband Billy in the creation of Yoga Deva has been a dream realized. Shosh's ultimate passion is that she be a guide to your liberation and experience the light and bliss of your true self. Now the Vision continues with your participation in building our Yoga community together.
